The Ranch Hand Burger

The burger that’s made for hardest working hands on the ranch.

When we say, “Taste the Difference”, our ground beef is where you’ll find what really separates Diamond A Ranch Beef apart from all the others.  There are a thousand different ways to enjoy our premium ground beef, but one of our favorites is the Ranch Hand Burger.

The truth is, you could cook our hamburger meat any way you like and it’s guaranteed to come out great. But if you’re feeling fancy and you want an elevated gourmet burger experience, try this recipe. Trust us.

Ingredients:

•       Chipotle-flavored Tabasco sauce

•       Onion powder

•       Salt & Pepper

•       Smoked Gouda Cheese slices

•       Bacon

•       Onion

•       Pickles

•       BBQ Sauce

First, make ½ pound patties with Premium Diamond A Ranch Ground Beef. When the patties are made, douse them with the Chipotle-flavored Tabasco sauce. Keep in mind this has some spice to it so be careful! Add the onion powder, salt, and pepper to the patties. Let them sit for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, slice an onion into thin slices. Go ahead and cook a few strips of bacon to your liking. When the bacon is cooked, remove from the frying pan and pour some of the leftover bacon grease into a small pan to cook the onions. Sautee the onions in the leftover bacon grease and add 2 or 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce.

While those are simmering, grill the burgers with your preferred. Open fire grill, cast iron skillet, smoker…however you like it.

Just as the patties are near the end, ass your gouda cheese on the patties for a nice melt. Now you’re ready to put it all together. Spread some of your favorite BBQ sauce on your buns. Add a patty, then the bacon, then the grilled onions. Throw in a couple of pickle slices if you like. and that’s it!

You just made the most mouth-watering burgers ever. And it’s the only burger fit for a real cowboy.
